Defending The Dream

Two centuries, three decades, and four years ago a group of men gathered in Philadelphia. These men were revolutionaries. Together they plotted rebellion against the greatest military power the Earth had ever seen. If they failed, they would be hanged for treason. But, if they succeeded, they would change the world and generations yet unborn could live in freedom.

That was their Dream. To realize it, these men wrote the Declaration of Independence. From that moment, the history of America came to be defined by the struggle to realize this great American Dream where we would have equal opportunity and freedom from government tyranny. From the Revolutionary War through the Great World Wars and to the civil rights struggles in the 1960’s, the fight to realize this Dream has become the defining characteristic of our history. Along the way, the greatest nation in the history of the world has emerged, flourished and prospered.

Today, once again, the Dream envisioned by our forefathers is threatened. It is threatened by our own government that has grown too powerful, too large and too arrogant. The Dream is threatened by high taxes, out of control spending, government takeovers and an unconstitutional return to tyranny. Like the generations who came before us, We the People of the United States must join again in common cause to defend our liberty. We will do so by using the electoral process created by our forefathers for this defense of the American Dream. Won’t you join us?

All across America a battle is looming for the heart, soul and future of America. In Florida, our part of this battlefield is the Congressional District 3 occupied by Rep. Corrine Brown. She must be defeated to reinstate the will and wishes of the American people.
